2026 USATF Membership
Track & Field, Cross Country,
Ultra-Marathons, and Road Races
This year, two of USATF’s biggest events for Masters runners will be held in Ohio, thus the Cleveland Road Runners Club joined the USATF as a member club for the first in over a decade.
First, there will be the: Master’s National Track & Field Championships held from Thursday, July 16th through Sunday, July 19th at the Spire Academy in Geneva, Ohio.
Then on Saturday, December 12th at Silver Creek Metro Park, Norton there will be the USATF Club Cross Country & National Championships: Under-20, Open, Masters 40-59, and Masters 60 & up.
One month before each of the above events, the Lake Erie Association of USATF will be hosting a local track & field event at Spire Academy and a local cross-country meet at Silver Creek Metro Park. So, you have an opportunity to compete in up to 8 nearby USATF events for your 2026 membership fee of $73 plus event registration fees.

· Be sure to join the Lake Erie Association as part of your $73 entry fee…
· Search for the “Cleveland Road Runners Club” so you can compete on a CRRC relay team at the three track meets at Spire Academy and on a CRRC team at the two cross country meets at Silver Creek Metro Park.
· You can also choose to pay more to get discounted VIP entry to events such as the U.S. Olympic Trials in 2028.

· May 25th Memorial Mile Road Race Championships in Boardman
· June 21st Open & Masters Track & Field Championships at Spire Academy
· June 28th Cleveland Track Championships at Spire Academy
· Lake Erie Association Cross Country Championship (registration is not yet open).

· 10,000 meter on Hillsdale College’s track is USATF age group championship (costs $10 more).

· The 10K at the Spire Academy Track and Field group championships is on the road.
· The 10,000 meter on the track National Championship race is strangely enough at the Midwest Regional Track & Field age group championships at Hillsdale College in Michigan (see above link).

o There are several 6K women’s only races at Festival open to women & girls without needing to join the USATF
o The USATF 6K championship road race requires women to meet A & B standards and write an email to the race director. Molly Seidel has run in the past.
§ A standard is 15:35 for a USATF certified 5K
§ B-standard is 16:25 for a USATF certified 5K.
